Josh is a U2 “vet” but this was my first show and it was the bomb! I had so much fun. It started out with the worlds best tailgate party with lots of good family and peeps such as Lamberth, Franks, Lovato, and Valenti types. We had homemade pulled beef sandwiches and a bunch of fixings! One thing was certain right from the start. There were not enough bathrooms for this huge show. So we enjoyed laughing at people who had to resort to peeing in the hills. Very funny. Guess you had to be there. Haha. We had a great time running into several people who we know and love that also attended the show. Black Eyed Peas were awesome. U2 was awesome. The night was a BLAST!!! How could it not be? It’s U2 people!
If you don't know what RSS is, it's totally cool. I can help you here. Prepare to have your mind blown. Taking a couple minutes to set this up will save you a LOT of time in trying to keep up with all sorts of great stuff on the web- like my blog. :-)
Basically, almost any site that has regularly updated articles (like blogs and news sites) will have an RSS Feed. This is an easy way for you to keep up with these kinds of sites. Instead of browsing around your favorite sites to see if there's new content, you just hook onto the RSS feed for each site and let all their new content come to YOU. Yeah, I know. Rad.
To get going you'll first need to pick up a "Feed Reader". Wait wait... I can hear you sigh. It's really not that bad. In fact, I'm going to just recommend one to you: Google Reader. It's free and it's accessible right on the web. If you already have a gmail email account, the interface will be very familiar. But even if you don't use gmail, I think you'll pick it up pretty fast.
Below, you'll find a couple instructional videos. Once you've chosen a Feed Reader and logged into it, you'll want to start subscribing to feeds. Be on the lookout for this guy:
"RSS in Plain English" - Shorter video that explains why RSS is so cool and a quick rundown on how to use RSS.
Video from Google - Watch a super nerdy guy from Google explain what RSS is. This one is kind of long but very easy to understand.
