Angie and I took a Bento class at Goodwin’s, my local organic foods store. I love doing weird and new things with my girlfriends. We definitely felt out of our element for a second when the instructor asked, by show of hands, who eats edemame in our class. Everyone raised their hand except us. What a crack up! Needless to say, we had a great time.
Here are some pics of the lunch box I made at the class. Bento is a Japanese and fun way to make lunches. It is also a nice alternative to the very played out PB&J. I am not insanely crafty but those who are can really go crazy with this culinary hobby.

I love bento boxes, there are so many cool websites online with pictures of the food all packed up. It’s almost an art form!
