Our bag of stolen belongings.
Check out this series of emails about our exciting night last night…
This note from Councilman Mike Gardner -
This is great news. Thank you to the Angulos for doing the right thing and congratulations to our great police officers. Great job!
This whole series of events also demonstrates the value of the neighborhood sticking together and communicating. If you know what is happening and what to look for you have a better chance of stopping the bad stuff.

Thank you, Casey, for this great report! Motion detectors are a good thing! You did the right thing to call 911 and let RPD take it from there – and as usual, they really came through!

Last night at around midnight my husband and I were just finishing up watching a movie. The lights in the house were on. My husband went into the kitchen to get a drink. Our outdoor motion light had been triggered. He saw a man sitting in our mini van going through the glove box (our van was unlocked). My husband immediately called 911 and described this Caucasian man with a shaved head who appeared to be in his 20’s to the dispatcher. Meanwhile the man left our driveway with a bag of our belongings and attempted to break into our neighbor’s side door of their house. The police arrived and arrested this man. We couldn’t be happier about the outcome. It is nice to finally catch one of these crooks. The RPD did an amazing job.

Whaaaaat? That is crazy… go ahead crime busters! What was he trying to make off with a tire pressure guage and some baby clothes?!?
You forgot to mention that I was there and that the guy took a pee break on the neighbors house. Crazy stuff!

Yikes-all he’d find in my car is some baby wipes and crusty old cheerios! Glad he was caught
